YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Technical and commercial management of complex integration projects and programs for ETCS onboard systems.
• Responsibility for projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from handover by sales to the end of the warranty phase.
• Ensuring the achievement of project goals regarding deadlines, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Definition of implementation strategies and coordination of all project activities for successful project execution.
• Support and coordination of customers, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders as well as building trusting and sustainable business relationships.
• Proactive management of risks, opportunities, changes, and project dependencies.
• Monitoring and controlling the financial project performance, including forecasts, costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations as well as timely and precise project reporting.
• Leadership, motivation, and further development of interdisciplinary project teams as well as promoting effective collaboration and a strong team culture.
• Coaching and mentoring of project managers and new team members as well as promoting knowledge exchange and best practices.
• Continuous further development of project management methods, tools, governance, and ways of working.
• Contribution to the further development and professionalization of the project management organization through the design of standards, processes, and operational excellence.
• Supporting strategic company goals by improving project performance and overall organizational performance.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Completed university degree in the field of engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or comparable).
• Extensive experience in project or program management in a complex technical or railway-specific field.
• Proven success in implementing complex, multidisciplinary projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in the railway sector (e.g., TSI CCS, UNISIG, CENELEC).
• Experience with ETCS onboard systems and railway signaling technology is a clear advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to coach and support project managers as well as promote knowledge exchange and best practices.
• Strategic, structured, and result-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and organizational development.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Very good English skills; German skills as well as other languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel (10-25 %).
