Architect Project Management Cultural Buildings (70-100%)

For the management and collaboration on demanding projects in the field of cultural buildings, we are looking for an engaged, responsible, and assertive personality as a Project Manager (70-100%) ETH/TU/FH, starting immediately or by arrangement.   About us We are arc Consulting + Architektur, a Zurich office with around 18 employees. For almost 40 years, we have been accompanying demanding projects in the areas of architecture, strategy, and client consultancy. Our office is located in the penthouse floor of the former management rooms of a mirror factory in the Binz. We combine architecture and consulting under one roof. In architecture, our focus is on residential construction, complex renovations of existing buildings, as well as the long-term accompaniment of significant cultural and heritage conservation objects. Furthermore, with our consulting know-how, we develop holistic solutions - from the initial clarification of needs through potential analyses to realization. In doing so, we pursue a common goal: to design the built environment with quality.   Your tasks • You take over project management for demanding cultural buildings and heritage conservation relevant objects in different project phases. • You accompany parallel projects across all service phases • Depending on the project, you also take on tasks in construction management and ensure careful implementation on site. • You coordinate clients, authorities, heritage conservation, user representatives, specialist planners, and contractors, and ensure a smooth project process. • You represent the interests of our clientele and ensure quality, deadlines, and costs.   You bring • Completed architecture studies ETH, TU, or FH. • Five years of professional experience in Switzerland with proven experience in planning and execution. • Enthusiasm for cultural buildings, heritage conservation issues, and building within existing structures. • Experience in managing complex projects and dealing with different stakeholder groups. • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working. • High level of initiative as well as enjoyment in taking responsibility and acting entrepreneurially. • Very good German skills in speaking and writing. • CAD skills, ideally ArchiCAD, as well as good knowledge of Adobe programs and MS Office; knowledge of BauPlus is an advantage.   We offer • Collaboration on fascinating and socially relevant cultural and renovation projects in the city of Zurich and beyond. • Much responsibility and creative freedom within an experienced and engaged team. • A familial, supportive working environment with an open, dynamic, and interdisciplinary culture. • Short decision-making paths and real trust in the independence of our employees. • Flexible working models and fair employment conditions. • Very good coffee, a sunny roof terrace, and joint events with a super team.     Contact Additional information will be provided by Theo Flückiger.
