In this function, you will contribute through your design work to the implementation of technical solutions as well as aids, tools and fixtures for efficient manufacturing and assembly. We develop systems and products, we produce optical components, we assemble optical and opto-electro-mechanical assemblies to enable applications for our customers that are mainly in the fields of health, industry and luxury. Design and product development: Support in the development and design of assemblies, devices and components in the field of optical systems. Design implementation of product developments considering function, manufacturability, quality and cost. Further development of existing products and technical solutions. Creation and maintenance of design guidelines as well as technical documentation. 2. Production and prototypes: Development and design of aids, tools and assembly fixtures for production, assembly and testing. Support in the construction of prototypes as well as accompanying functional tests and technical trials. Checking and assessing prototypes in goods receipt. Supporting production in the manufacture of prototypes. Optimizing design processes in the production-related environment. 3. Project support and coordination: Project planning, scheduling and cost estimation. Support of customer projects from concept to production readiness. Internal and external clarifications to ensure delivery dates and technical feasibility. Contact with suppliers for inquiries, coordination and technical queries Your profile: 1. Professional qualification: Completed training as Konstrukteur/in EFZ. Ideally 2 to 3 years of professional experience in a comparable function. Good CAD knowledge, e.g. in Fusion360, SolidWorks or similar, as well as strong technical understanding Independent, structured and reliable way of working. Experience in handling optical components or interest in optics-related products is an advantage. Good knowledge of technical standards, for example ISO 2768, as well as understanding of internal and external requirements. Interest in the further development of design processes and technical standards. Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage. 2. Personal and team-related suitability: Strong teamwork skills and cooperative attitude; supports colleagues beyond the defined tasks. Open and approachable; contributes to a positive working atmosphere in both formal and informal environments. Clear and effective communication skills in German, both internally and in customer contact.
