Berne-Ittigen, Suisse (and home office) | 80-80% What you can contribute <br /> • Handle requests from media professionals, prepare position statements, provide information, write media releases, as well as prepare, organize and host media events • Conduct research for the purpose of writing documentation and articles or revising such texts • Write speeches for the Director of the OFEV and accompany her during her interventions • Lead and coordinate crisis communication as well as projects in the field of communication • Ensure coordination with federal departments and offices • Prepare publications for social networks <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a higher education institution (Master) or equivalent training in the field of media or communication • Several years of experience in writing and journalism, very good knowledge of the Swiss political system and, ideally, also of the federal administration • In-depth knowledge of the Swiss media system, network of relations in the field of Swiss environmental journalism, mastery of different communication channels (communication adapted to the target audience) • Sharp sensitivity to political communication • Resilience to heavy workloads, sense of responsibility, negotiation talent and ability to maintain an overview • Good active knowledge of at least a second official language, passive knowledge of a third official language and good knowledge of English <br /> In a few words You transmit high-quality information and messages to the dynamic world of media, at the appropriate time, on themes related to the environment. Through your writing ease and your sharp sense of political communication, you help the management of the OFEV and specialists to present the multiple themes handled by the OFEV in a way that is understandable and adapted to the media.
