Anesthesia, as part of the Medical Service Centers, performs around 6'500 anesthesias annually across a broad professional spectrum. With a 24h specialist physician presence system (shift operation), we ensure anesthesiological care in the OR, in the intensive care unit, in the delivery room, in the emergency department, and during resuscitations. ### What awaits you • Collaboration as an anesthesiologist • Management of anesthesia in the procedural areas together with the Chief Physician and his deputy and the Head of Anesthesia Nursing • Participation in the management of OR operations in the Anesthesia management committee, the Head of Anesthesia Nursing, the Head of Operating Technicians in close and friendly cooperation with the stakeholders • Leadership of the subordinate medical staff • Development of the institute as part of the institute management • If interested, deployment as an SGNOR emergency physician or equivalent How you will help us move forward • Specialist in anesthesiology, recognized in Switzerland • Several years of professional experience at least at the senior physician level in a larger hospital • A completed or currently ongoing qualified further training in management and leadership • Understanding and interest in lived quality in the areas of medicine, medical economics, medical processes, patient contact, stakeholder management and team • Joy in further developing and modernizing anesthesia and OR operations in Schaffhausen in a highly motivated team • Willingness to constructively accompany the Spitäler Schaffhausen in the transformation process surrounding the new hospital construction Family friendliness Spitäler Schaffhausen as an employer Spitäler Schaffhausen includes the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrischen Dienste, the Radiologie and Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum.
