Azure Cloud Engineer (a)

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will help shape the construction of our cloud landscape from the ground up. Your focus is on the development of a modern, secure, and scalable Cloud Foundation that serves as the basis for our future Azure services and applications.

Together with us, you will develop the fundamental concepts and standards for our Azure platform – from Identity & Access Management, network and security, to governance and monitoring, and automation and Infrastructure as Code. This is not just about operating existing solutions: you have the opportunity to help shape structures, technologies, and processes from the very beginning and contribute your ideas.

A dynamic environment with a lot of creative freedom awaits you. Since we are currently building our cloud competencies and structures, you will be a central part of this development from the start. You will analyze requirements and technical problems, develop sustainable solutions, and implement them together with internal and external specialists.

In doing so, you will work closely with various specialist departments and IT, helping to build and further develop our Azure Cloud Foundation step by step. Your knowledge and experience are just as much in demand as your willingness to try new ways and take on responsibility.

What excites you

• You participate in the creation and further development of cloud concepts, standards, and architectures in relation to Microsoft Azure
• You design, implement, automate, and operate our cloud infrastructure
• You automate cloud resources and processes with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps approaches
• You establish concepts for security, Identity & Access Management, network, governance, and monitoring
• You contribute your ideas, take on responsibility, and actively help shape our cloud architecture

What you bring

• You have sound experience with Microsoft Azure in an enterprise environment, know the central concepts of modern cloud infrastructures, and ideally have already worked in the regulated banking environment (FINMA)
• You have experience with IaC (preferably Terraform), cloud environments in an enterprise environment, and are familiar with the construction and operation of highly available systems
• You are solution-oriented, work independently and in a structured manner
• You enjoy developing and further developing cloud concepts
• You live in Switzerland and have very good German and good English skills
