How you will help shape it:
You will lead the Metering Data Management team with four employees personally and professionally and continuously develop organization, processes, and competencies with regard to digitalization and the increasing requirements in metering.
With your team, you are responsible for the recording, preparation, plausibility check, and provision of the metering data of all remotely read media. In this way, you ensure high data quality and data availability as a basis for billing, network operation, energy management, and new services.
You and your team are responsible for the smart metering system platform and, together with the ICT application team and the system suppliers, ensure reliable operation.
You and your team ensure that new market requirements, products, and regulatory specifications can be mapped in our metering data management systems and processes.
You are the central contact person for metering data, coordinate malfunctions in metering data operations, and optimize recurring processes through standardization and automation – for more efficiency, data quality, and process reliability.
What you bring with you:
You have a basic technical education with further training in the field of electrical engineering/informatics at HF/FH level.
You have experience in the energy industry, ideally with a focus on smart metering and a deep understanding of metering data recording, preparation, and processing for electricity, gas, water, and heat.
You have sound knowledge of the EDM/MDM system landscape and their interaction along the meter-to-cash process chain. In addition, you know the regulatory requirements in metering very well.
You think in a structured and analytical manner and have a sense for the conception and optimization of system-supported processes and data flows with a focus on data quality and end-to-end process reliability.
You demonstrate a high intrinsic drive for the optimization and automation of recurring processes for sustainable efficiency increases.
You are a communicative, resilient, and solution-oriented personality with leadership experience.
A broad understanding of technology as well as a quick grasp and methodological competence characterize you.
