AOZ is a non-profit, independent public-law institution of the City of Zurich with over 2000 employees and more than 1000 intercultural interpreters and volunteers. On behalf of the Confederation, Cantons, City of Zurich and other municipalities, it provides professional services in the field of migration and integration. Site Manager 80-100%, Sozialberatung Triemli Your tasks • You lead a team of around 25 employees in technical, personnel and financial aspects, whereby the social workers as well as the team management of the administration are directly subordinate to you. • You ensure professional service delivery and support, promote and develop your employees together with your group leaders. • You ensure with your team the alignment of personal and economic assistance according to the Social Assistance Act and the Asylum Welfare Ordinance • Within the framework of the competence regulations, you assess and approve applications from the employees subordinate to you. • You are responsible for quality assurance as well as the implementation of internal guidelines and standards. • You actively participate in the ongoing, cross-departmental change process and accompany your team during the realignment Your profile • Degree in Social Work or comparable training (Bachelor level) • Diplomas from abroad must already be recognized by the SBFI (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation) • Leadership training and demonstrable leadership experience • Several years of experience in economic assistance according to the Social Assistance Act and the Asylum Welfare Ordinance • Experience in managing change processes as well as in the active accompaniment and development of teams • Negotiation skills, assertiveness, confident appearance towards the outside and inside • Good communication skills, ability to act in a solution-oriented manner and to work in a networked collaboration with various agencies Erich Diethelm HR Recruiting Partner recruiting@aoz.ch
