Our client is a larger organization in the Bern area with versatile structures and several internal interfaces. The payroll team is in a phase of further development. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced personality who takes initiative in day-to-day business and constructively supports changes. You will contribute your experience and actively help shape processes.

We are looking for a person as "Payroll Specialist 80-100% with SAP knowledge", who can offer temporary support. The position is fixed-term for a period of approximately eight months. A subsequent permanent employment is possible and will be evaluated during the assignment. Entry is immediate or by arrangement (as soon as possible).

Your area of responsibility

• In operational payroll, you will take responsibility for the wage processing of a large employee base
• You will process social insurances and withholding taxes independently and maintain an overview even in more complex cases
• Together with the HR administration and time recording team, you will ensure that wage-relevant mutations are processed correctly
• In preparation for the end of the year, you will take on further activities for a clean closing of the financial year
• During ongoing changes, you will actively contribute and support the team pragmatically in day-to-day business
• You will constructively question existing payroll and HR processes and participate in their further development

Your profile

• Several years of payroll experience gives you the confidence to take over operational tasks quickly and independently
• Sound SAP knowledge is mandatory and you use it routinely in your daily work
• You have sound practical knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system and withholding taxes
• You approach changes openly and in a solution-oriented manner; you feel comfortable in a larger, dynamic environment
• Very good German language skills as well as a hands-on way of working round off your profile
