Senior Accountant

We are recruiting on behalf of a fiduciary based in the center of Geneva for a Senior Accountant / Mandate Manager for a permanent position. You will autonomously manage a client portfolio and ensure the complete follow-up of their files, covering accounting, payroll, tax, and administrative aspects. You will work in an entrepreneurial environment that prioritizes digital tools while maintaining a close relationship with its clients.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage a client portfolio. Ensure complete bookkeeping up to the closing
• Perform interim and annual closings and prepare financial statements
• Develop dashboards and ensure the monitoring of cash flow and financial flows
• Manage banking operations, client invoices, and supplier payments
• Process payroll and handle administrative procedures related to personnel
• Perform monthly and annual social security declarations and manage relations with compensation funds
• Prepare tax returns for individuals and legal entities
• Prepare and control VAT returns and ensure exchanges with tax administrations
• Present accounts to clients and support them in the follow-up of their files
• Ensure efficient coordination with other team members and report to management

Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fiduciary in Switzerland as a mandate manager
• Experience in the autonomous management of a significant client portfolio
• Excellent knowledge of accounting, taxation, and payroll management
• Mastery of standard office tools, notably MS Office and SharePoint
• Knowledge of Odoo and WinEURSalaires is a real asset
• Fluent French and good knowledge of English; any other language is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
• Autonomous, proactive, rigorous, and precise person
• Good resistance to stress and ability to meet demanding deadlines
• Very good interpersonal skills and true customer orientation
• Sharp sense of confidentiality and responsibility
