The Spittelhof in Biel-Benken offers 13 adult women and men of all ages with mental and/or cognitive impairments a short- or long-term home. A daily structure as well as 18 adapted workplaces are available to employees living internally and externally. Life at Spittelhof is characterized by the rural milieu in a special living atmosphere.

Your mission

You accompany employees with mental and/or cognitive impairments in supported work and support them in agricultural and gardening activities. With joy, expertise, and an open eye for individual strengths, you design a meaningful and well-structured work and daily routine together with the participants. An important part of your task is the key person work for several participants. You are co-responsible for the production and sale of the own farm products and continuously develop the agricultural work offering. Your tasks also include the maintenance and care of tools, machines, and infrastructure. In addition, you undertake the necessary documentation and administrative tasks.

Your profile

• Completed training as a Work Integration Specialist
• Completed vocational training (EFZ), ideally in the agricultural or gardening area
• Specialist knowledge and practical experience in horticulture, agriculture, animal care, or a related area
• Several years of professional experience in dealing with people with impairments
• Joy in practical, physical, and varied work outdoors
• Empathic personality
• Driver's license category B or BE
