Together with our client, an established company in the Basel region, we are looking for a payroll accountant / a payroll accountant immediately or by agreement with a workload between 70-100%. This is a temporary assignment for initially 4 months. In this vacancy, the focus is primarily on salaries and payroll accounting, but also on team spirit and good moods. As a Payroll Specialist, you ensure that employees receive their salaries on time and happily.

Your tasks at the new employer:

• You ensure the timely processing of monthly salary statements, taking into account all relevant guidelines and regulations
• You process inquiries regarding payroll and support your team members in all payroll-related matters
• You also maintain and update employee data, including changes in wages and salaries as well as social benefits
• You monitor and optimize all processes in payroll accounting to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• As a specialist, you work closely with other departments such as the finance and HR teams to ensure smooth processes

You offer your new employer:

• For this function, you have completed training or a degree in the field of human resources, finance, or a similar specialization
• You have already gained sound knowledge in payroll accounting as well as in handling relevant IT systems and tools
• Your enthusiasm for numbers and a funny, positive character that brightens the work environment complement your excellent skills
• You speak fluent German and ideally possess French language skills
