The Service de la prévoyance sociale SPS supports and coordinates the implementation of policies relating to persons with disabilities and seniors. It plans the range of services and takes care of the financing as well as the supervision of the specialized institutions that fall under its competence. It plans the need for places in médico-social establishments (EMS), the need for care and home help and pays subsidies to persons who cannot finance their stay in an EMS. You actively participate in the implementation of cantonal policy in favor of seniors as well as in the organization of long-term care by planning, steering and financing the offer for EMS and home care. Your missions As head of the long-term care section, you are responsible for its operational, financial and strategic management. In this context, you collaborate with médico-social networks, long-term care in EMS and at home, as well as with the main actors in the field, the other cantons and the Confederation. You are in charge of the planning of long-term care for the canton of Fribourg and ensure, through efficient management of public resources, the financing of EMS and home care. For this position, we are looking for a committed and communicative personality, perfectly aware of current cantonal and federal issues. You have very good knowledge of the Fribourg network. You also possess the ability to understand complex situations through your keen sense of analysis.
