With us, you will lead a work group of people with disabilities and combine production with active instruction and promotion in everyday work. The Balm Foundation accompanies around 410 people with disabilities at decentralized locations in the areas of Heilpädagogische School, Production & Services, and Living & Employment. The Production & Services department offers around 160 supervised jobs and training places with around 65 specialists in the Industrial Workshop, Green Area, Gastronomy, and Workshop departments and is certified according to ISO 9001:2015. The customer base of the Industrial Workshop includes well-known companies, for which we are active in the areas of assembly, packaging, mailing, and mechanical production (manual, partially automated, and computer-controlled work processes). We are looking for a self-responsible, pragmatic, and open-minded Group Leader* Industrial Workshop (CNC) 80% (further training in work pedagogy an advantage) as of August 1, 2026, or by agreement. Your tasks: • Responsible for the timely and qualitatively flawless execution of assigned customer orders, including administration • Leading, accompanying, and promoting a work group of employees and learners with a disability, following agogical and structural guidelines • Planning individual work steps and ensuring and organizing a smooth, safe, efficient, and cost-conscious workflow • Setting up workplaces and instructing employees • Contributing to the further development of production processes with regard to productivity improvement • Contributing to inquiries and post-calculation and analysis of executed production orders • Processing client documentation according to guidelines (development plans, recording individual support needs (IBB), reporting, etc.) • Maintenance and maintenance of used operating resources You bring: • Training in the technical field and long-term experience in CNC mechanics • Completed vocational trainer course • Further training in the social field (work pedagogy, etc.) or great willingness and interest in further training in agogical topics • Pronounced social skills, joy, and patience in dealing with people with disabilities, as well as understanding of their individual situation • Loyal, proactive, and solution-oriented person with efficient, structured, and pragmatic work • Excellent German language skills in word and writing Our offer: • A versatile and meaningful activity • Many opportunities to fully utilize your social skills • A culture characterized by appreciation and personal responsibility • A committed and collegial team that supports you in your daily work • 40-hour week with regulated working hours, no shift work • Exciting internal further training opportunities in agogical topics • An interesting and not everyday workplace in the industry Buech in Jona Have we aroused your interest?
