Business Development shapes the future of Herzog & de Meuron. The team identifies new project opportunities worldwide, works closely with partners and the CEO, and accompanies projects from the initial idea. As the first point of contact for new clients, Business Development stands for strong relationships, clear positioning, and sustainable growth. As part of the 5-member BD team, you will report to the Head and your main tasks include: • Summarizing, assessing, and presenting potential new projects in the DACH region • Answering project inquiries and establishing contact with potential new clients in the DACH region • You support the process of preparing submissions such as EOIs/RFQs/RFPs and contribute supportively to the preparation of content • Preparation of presentation materials to introduce Herzog & de Meuron to potential clients • Researching and reporting on relevant market trends • General support and assistance for the Business Development department Your profile: • Master's degree in architecture or a comparable field • Initial relevant professional experience (approx. 1-3 years), ideally in an architecture office • Strong communication skills, confident in presentations, and open to exchange within the team • Proficient use of MS Office and Adobe InDesign • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus • Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage • Interest in international projects and experience in German-speaking markets desirable You can expect a versatile field of tasks in an international, creative environment with strong positioning in the architecture world.
