Housekeeper for first-class hotel in Basel 60-80%

The cleaning company Aaab based in Glattbrugg is looking for an experienced and responsible housekeeper to complement the team for cleaning services in a renowned hotel in Basel.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Planning and organization of daily cleaning work in hotel rooms and public areas
• Ensuring compliance with the high cleaning standards and guidelines of the hotel
• Training and guidance of the cleaning team to ensure efficient and high-quality work
• Monitoring the inventory and ordering of cleaning materials and supplies
• Cooperation with other departments to ensure smooth operations and meet guest requirements
• Carrying out quality controls to ensure that all premises are clean and tidy
• Management of work schedules, vacation requests, and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position, ideally as a housekeeper or supervisor in a hotel
• Sound knowledge of cleaning standards and procedures in the hotel industry
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Fluent German and English skills; further languages are an advantage
