Lecturer in Midwifery Science and Reproductive Health with a focus on Research \& MSc 80\-100 % Department: Health Start date: Immediately or by arrangement Tasks You develop, acquire, coordinate, and implement research and development projects in midwifery science as well as in the field of sexual and reproductive health. In doing so, you coordinate closely with the research management and take responsibility for project budgets and, on a project basis, for employees. You help shape the strategic further development of the Research \& Development service area. Through interdisciplinary cooperation, scientific publications, conference contributions, and understandable science communication, you strengthen the internal and external knowledge transfer as well as the national and international visibility of the institute. You assume module responsibility in the MSc Midwifery and design, plan, implement, evaluate, and ensure the quality of profession-specific and interprofessional modules. In doing so, you develop scientifically sound module objectives, teaching content, didactic formats, and assessments at EQR level 7\. You conduct teaching activities in the MSc Midwifery and, if necessary, in the BSc Midwifery. You specifically integrate current research findings, blended learning, e-learning, and the reflective use of artificial intelligence into your teaching and learning settings. You competently supervise students with Master's theses. Additionally, you develop and evaluate assessments, conduct re-examinations, and take into account the applicable quality and AI guidelines. You support the degree program management in the strategic, organizational, substantive, and didactic further development of the MSc Midwifery. To this end, you work independently on curriculum development, quality development, and AI integration and represent the degree program with commitment in the professional public. Profile What you bring with you: You have a doctorate in midwifery science, psychology, health sciences, social sciences, or a related field. Your scientific expertise lies particularly in needs-oriented obstetric care and/or sexual and reproductive health. You have successfully developed, acquired, implemented, and led research projects and are familiar with the responsibility for project planning, coordination, and implementation. You have proven expertise in quantitative research methods and apply health or social science methods safely, differentiably, and with an orientation toward quality. You bring experience in higher education teaching, ideally at the Master's level, and possess higher education didactic training or a comparable qualification. Advantageous are: an completed training as a midwife as well as a sound understanding of professional practice and the current challenges of the professional field; several years of professional experience as a midwife or relevant professional experience outside of a university; enjoyment in creatively developing and sustainably implementing innovative research questions, teaching formats, and solution approaches; experience in inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation as well as the willingness to productively combine different professional and practice-related perspectives.
