You ensure, under the supervision of the medical hierarchy, the practical activities, clinical and therapeutic interventions that are entrusted to you and you commit to postgraduate training in radiology according to the ISFM program. You contribute to the training of intern doctors. You progress in your training course according to the defined plan and/or the FMH requirements for the specialization title in radiology. You hold a federal diploma of medicine or have equivalent training. If your diploma comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition from the Commission des professions médicales of the Office fédéral de la santé publique (MEBEKO) and your diploma is registered in the Registre des professions médicales (MedReg). A complete postgraduate year in internal medicine and/or surgery is a prerequisite. Possessing excellent skills to communicate in a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible and committed person. Moreover, you have demonstrated strong adaptability capacities. For non-French speaking applications, a French level C1 in spoken and written tests is required. As part of the internal medicine doctor training rotation, the department recruits around 15 new internal medicine doctors during the year. The department's objectives (grouping 9 medical services) are to provide patients with diagnostic, prognostic, therapeutic, predictive and/or preventive results. These results must be of high medical quality, reliable, delivered on time and at an acceptable cost. The main mission of the Service de radiologie concerns diagnostic radiology exams and therapeutic interventions under the guidance of different imaging techniques. This clinical activity includes around 220’000 exams and 5'000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per year, a significant part of which is provided in a 24h/24 rhythm.
