In our Surgery-Orthopaedics team, as a medical assistant, you will gain insight into our broad spectrum of surgical disciplines and expand your specialist knowledge through your practical cooperation.

As a regional hospital/acute hospital with emergency services, nursing home and Spitex, we are responsible for the basic medical care of the Davos population and guests. However, the well-being of our employees is just as important to us. With us, you will work in a manageable operation that is nevertheless important for the region. We maintain a collegial working atmosphere and appreciate the proximity to nature as well as the numerous sports and leisure opportunities in Davos.

We are awarding positions for August/September 2028 and from February 2029 as

Medical Assistant: Surgery & Orthopaedics 100% ##

You will receive the following insights

• You will work full-time and thus gain profound knowledge about the daily routine in the hospital
• Collect anamneses under supervision and guidance
• Care for patients
• Be present during consultations
• Be involved in general medical ward work
• Assist in operations
• If applicable, participate in medical research
• Participate in the 24-hour on-call service

and we count on

• Student in human medicine
• Knowledge-hungry, upbeat young personalities who enjoy working in a team and are interested in learning more about how a regional hospital operates

Our offer

Students actively participate in the daily workflow of the clinic. This includes activities in the department, in consultations and in the operating room, daily participation in reports and continuing education events as well as in meetings about surgical indicators. After induction, independent care of surgical patients in the emergency room or on the ward under the guidance of a senior physician is possible.
