Social Coordinator in IEPA (right bank building) / at 100% / in CDI (Social path preferred)

IEPA buildings (immeubles avec encadrement pour personnes âgées) group independent housing, where elderly people are full tenants, as well as common areas for various animation activities, allowing them to remain autonomous in a secure environment.

Your missions and responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of tenants by taking necessary measures
• Organize collective life within the building and provide animation services
• Provide social and administrative assistance to tenants who request it (e.g.: ensuring tenants' access to social rights, helping them with their financial management, as well as in processing mail and requests from partners internal or external to IMAD, etc.)
• Propose specific services for staying at home and contribute to the interdisciplinary care of tenants through coordination with different partners
• Work in close collaboration with the IEPA team leaders and ensure the administrative management of social management in compliance with IMAD procedures
• Guarantee follow-up and partnership with the foundations owning the buildings, the mandatories (agencies, companies) within the framework defined between the different partners
• Ensure duty shifts during weekends and public holidays.
• Bachelor HES-SO in social work or an equivalent recognized diploma by the Swiss Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences and of Universities of Applied Sciences in Social Work (SASSA)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a social environment or in the field of care (experience in geriatrics or psychiatry required)
• Ability to work autonomously AND mobility within the Canton
• Knowledge of the Geneva social / health network
• Ease in relations with elderly people
• Administrative rigor and organizational skills
• Good command of standard IT tools.
