You ensure individual, professional, and resource-oriented care and support of our patients and support them Healthcare Professional Special Ward Wernicke At the Universitäres Psychiatrisches Zentrum Bern, we care for 18 people with complex psychiatric illnesses and acute stress crises on the Wernicke ward. Our team specializes in the treatment of psychiatric movement disorders such as catatonia, treatment-resistant depression, as well as severe eating disorders, which often require artificial nutrition. Thanks to our proximity to somatic medicine, we enable comprehensive care for our patients.
