What you bring with you:

• Education at university/university of applied sciences level in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering or comparable as well as several years of experience in leading demanding technology projects.
• Experience in the public sector or a comparably regulated organization; experience in the police environment, civil protection, military or another security-critical environment.
• Experience in requirements management, in the evaluation and procurement of ICT solutions as well as with the project management methodology HERMES and public procurement procedures.
• Experience with network architectures, transmission and telecommunications technologies as well as mission-critical systems, in particular security-critical communication, emergency call or operational systems is an advantage.
• Very good communication and expression skills, negotiation skills, assertiveness and a structured, independent way of working; driver's license Cat. B and an impeccable reputation; French language skills are an advantage.

The Polizeitechnik department ensures the IT and telecommunications operations of the Kantonspolizei around the clock, 365 days a year.
Through the adaptation of new technologies, it strengthens the police today and for the future in its diverse tasks.

The <<ICT-Projekte>> service is responsible for the development and further development of the ICT systems and applications of the Kantonspolizei Aargau. In doing so, we work closely with future users and with other police corps. We analyze the needs of the users, evaluate and procure suitable systems and technologies and establish them in the organization.

The Kantonspolizei Aargau relies on reliable and secure ICT, in daily police operations as well as in special and extraordinary situations. As a Project Manager ICT, you take responsibility for demanding ICT projects. From the first idea through conception and procurement to implementation and handover to operations.
