Network and Cyber Security Engineer Railway Technology

You plan and operate network and cyber security solutions for railway systems and further develop the associated security architectures.

Tasks

• Planning, implementation and operation of network and cyber security solutions for railway systems
• Creation and further development of network and security architectures
• Conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and developing security concepts
• Integration, configuration and support of networks, firewalls, VPNs and security systems
• Support of projects regarding cyber security and network issues throughout the entire life cycle
• Analysis and resolution of security and network incidents as well as definition of improvement measures
• Ensuring compliance with railway-specific standards such as IEC 62443, TS 50701 and CRA

Profile

• Technical education HF/FH/ETH/Uni in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications or cyber security
• Several years of professional experience in network engineering and/or cyber security
• Sound knowledge in routing, switching, firewalls, VPN and network architectures
• Experience with cyber security solutions, security monitoring and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of OT/industrial networks as well as safety-critical systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, TS 50701 and CRA
• German and English
