SolidHelp AG is an independent specialist organization for outreach, life-world-oriented social work operating in the Canton of Zürich. The protection of child welfare is central. We work respectfully and transparently with parents and families to ensure the basic needs and development of children and adolescents and to guarantee age-appropriate care and support. Our clients primarily include the child and youth welfare centers (kjz) of the Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB), the social centers of the City of Zürich, and the Child and Adult Protection Authorities (KESB). We are looking for immediately or by arrangement: Social Worker, Social Pedagogue, Childhood Pedagogue, Psychologist or Educational Scientist ## 50%-80% (Permanent employment or hourly wage) ### Area of responsibility: ### • Support, counseling and coaching of parents with their children in challenging life situations (promoting parenting skills, utilizing existing resources, imparting instruments for a constructive approach to crises and conflicts, expanding competencies in different areas of life) • Support for adolescents (individual support/youth coaching) • Visitation support • Responsibility for the implementation of the goals defined within the framework of the mandate clarification • Responsibility for case management • Reporting (professional assessment and recommendations) and evaluation • Cooperation with clients, authorities and other involved specialist agencies • Cooperation in the team, case discussions, supervision and intervision • Recognition and assessment of critical family situations, especially in cases of child welfare endangerment You bring with you: ### • University of Applied Sciences diploma in Social Work, diploma as a Social Pedagogue HF, diploma as a Childhood Pedagogue HF or Bachelor in Psychology or Educational Science (foreign educational qualifications must be recognized as equivalent by the responsible federal or cantonal authority) • At least two years of professional experience after completion of training in a field of social work with children, adolescents and families; part-time activities will be credited accordingly • Knowledge of the institutional environment of child, youth and family welfare in the Canton of Zürich • Independent way of working and autonomy in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of assignments • Confidence in dealing with crisis and conflict situations • Good capacity for reflection • Good written and oral communication skills (German C1) • Readiness for flexible assignments, including in the evening and on weekends • High social competence, empathy and ability to work in a team • Readiness to cooperate in a team • Foreign language skills are an advantage • Intercultural competencies are an advantage We offer: ### • Versatile, responsible and meaningful activity in a dynamic environment • Professional, family-oriented organization with short decision-making paths, clear processes and transparent communication • Trusting, appreciative and diversity-sensitive corporate culture • Field of activity with scope for design and the possibility to participate in working groups • Flexible working hours, home office and office space for shared use • Professional support, supervision and intervision • Attractive employment conditions and further training opportunities
