The mission of the SCAT is to ensure the sustainable development of the territory. Its prospective and regulatory action aims both to protect the natural bases of life and to create a harmonious built environment free of dangers, favorable to housing, social life, and economic activities. It establishes the cantonal master plan, monitors the adequacy of municipal planning to land-use rules, and coordinates building permit procedures.

Your missions
In your capacity as a legal expert, you will collaborate on the various tasks of the department by providing your legal expertise to a multidisciplinary team. In particular, you will verify the relevance and consistency of municipal land-use regulations while drafting draft decisions related to the granting of building permits. Furthermore, you will lead the revisions of the legislation governing land-use and construction and establish cantonal planning.
The position is offered for a duration of 7 to 8 months as part of a replacement due to maternity leave.

Your profile
Holder of legal training, supplemented by a specialization or experience in land-use planning acquired within a private office or a public administration, you have good knowledge of administrative procedure.
Equipped with a proven sense of communication and negotiation, you benefit from skills in real estate expertise.
Holding a lawyer's patent constitutes an additional asset.
