The Stiftung Salome Brunner is committed to around 300 children and adolescents with language development disorders and learning difficulties. With our various schools, we see ourselves as an important part of the educational landscape of the Canton of Bern. The Sprachheilschule Wabern is a special public school for children and adolescents with a complex language development disorder as well as intellectual disability and comprises 21 classes from the primary level to the vocational preparation school year (BVS). Small classes enable attention to the individual needs of the students. Speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy take place as individual therapy. Tasks ###

• 20-22 lessons of speech therapy - the speech-therapeutic support of the students (usually 2 lessons/week each) - cooperation in the interdisciplinary team (school, day school, boarding school, medical therapy, speech therapy) - exchange and participation in the speech therapy team and the school

Requirements ###

• completed studies in speech therapy - enjoyment and interest in working with children and adolescents with special needs in the areas of language, communication, behavior, and learning
