Stiftung Zugang B is responsible in the Canton of Bern for unaccompanied minors who have entered Switzerland without the accompaniment of a legal guardian. With professional offerings in the areas of education, vocational integration, and 24/7 care, it creates the prerequisites so that young people receive protection, stability, and real future perspectives. For the overall management of the foundation, we are looking for a unifying and decisive leadership personality. You will take responsibility for an organization with high social relevance, shape its strategic further development, and together with your team, create the framework conditions for a successful future. Your tasks • Overall management and strategic further development of Stiftung Zugang B in close cooperation with the executive management team and the foundation board • Leadership, promotion, and further development of the directly subordinate management persons • Operational management and responsibility for the foundation in personnel, financial, and organizational aspects • Responsibility for service contract negotiations with the Canton of Bern as well as cultivation and expansion of cooperation with authorities, specialist offices, and other stakeholders • Ensuring child welfare as well as compliance with professional, qualitative, and legal regulations and standards • Leading the foundation in crisis and exceptional situations as well as guaranteeing professional and stable operations • Promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation as well as conceptual further development of the offerings and services • Representation of the foundation towards politics, administration, and specialist committees as well as positioning as a competent and reliable partner Your competencies • University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Pedagogy, or a comparable field of study • Further training in Management, Leadership, or Business Administration • Several years of leadership experience at the executive management or department management level in a non-profit organization in the social sector • Experience in organizational development as well as a pronounced understanding of social-political, institutional, and financial contexts • Strategic thinking combined with high implementation strength • Ability to quickly adapt structures in a volatile and dynamic environment • Integrative, appreciative leadership personality with high transcultural interest • Transparent and consistent attitude and communication • Confident appearance as well as the ability to build and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders Your advantages • A meaningful leadership function with high social impact and great scope for design • Contemporary and flexible working model as well as support for further training • A committed, interdisciplinary team and an appreciative corporate culture • A varied working day with diverse tasks that leave room for creativity and initiative Your place of work Birkenweg 61, Bern, Schweiz Interested?
