Responsible for Marketing & Communication

The Department of Architecture, Construction, Landscape, Space of the OST - Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences contributes to the sustainable design of our living space. It trains specialists and executives in construction and planning and provides important knowledge and technology transfer to the professional field. To strengthen our departmental staff, we are looking for a location in Rapperswil on 1. September 2026 or by agreement a Responsible for Marketing & Communication (60-70%) In this function, you will design and coordinate the marketing and communication activities in the Department of Architecture, Construction, Landscape, Space. You will play a central role in positioning our courses on the market and will significantly contribute to the visibility and profiling of the relevant target groups. At the same time, you will be responsible for communication and event tasks at the department level and will thus shape the perception and appearance of the department internally and externally. ### Your field of action • Coordination and further development of marketing activities for the courses, in close coordination with the product managers and central marketing • Design of internal and external communication at department level, especially via website, newsletter and intranet • Organization of information events, school visits and other formats for prospective students • Realization of content for the digital channels of the courses and the department (web, social media, etc.) • Collaboration on events of the university • Analysis of market and target group data • Central interface of the department for marketing and communication topics Your expertise • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or a related field or completed vocational training with in-depth further education in these areas • Professional experience in marketing or communication (also possible in the context of study-related activity) • Experience in working with digital communication channels • Very good written expression in German • Organizational skills, high initiative and a structured, implementation- and result-oriented way of working • Confident appearance and skilled handling of different target groups • Joy in teamwork and diverse personal contacts • Curiosity, flexibility and interest in the topics of architecture, construction and planning Your benefits with us Questions about the application process Rolf Indermaur HR Business Partner rolf.indermaur@ost.ch About the OST The OST - Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences is an intercantonal and interstate university of applied sciences with locations in Buchs, Rapperswil-Jona and St.Gallen.
