Project Manager Aviation Systems

This is the contribution you can make • Plan, lead and control projects of medium to high complexity in the areas of equipment for flying crews and parachute service as well as aircraft recovery systems and other military aviation material • Develop planning and control documents, technical requirements as well as evidence and decision-making bases • Monitor project progress, achievement of milestones and compliance with all specifications • Process certification and airworthiness topics and coordinate with the Swiss military aviation authority • Conduct negotiations with stakeholders from other groups, federal offices, authorities and industry in national and international environments • Ensure project-related communication within and outside of armasuisse What makes you unique • Engineer ETH or FH (specialization in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or aviation) • Several years of profound professional experience in project management, preferably in the field of aviation • Reliable and respectful personality with a flair for methodical procedures, negotiation skills, convincing appearance, high assertiveness and strong social competence • Enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders in various technical topics of military aviation and striving to develop suitable solutions • Strong understanding of customer needs, high sense of responsibility and good communication skills • You have oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as good English skills (Level B2/C1) What we offer • Working for Switzerland We are committed to the success model of Switzerland and work for the well-being of the population. • Lived diversity Thanks to equal opportunity, we develop our competencies and bring in different perspectives. • Healthy at the workplace We support and advise our employees in the area of physical and mental health.
