• you are responsible for the cross-location support, further development, and availability of our application and workflow solutions in the area of CtP and Publishing
• you ensure stable production processes from data input to print output and support systems such as ABB WMS, NewsWay, Asura, Switch, Pixometrie, PitStop, as well as other testing and processing solutions
• you set up print jobs and customer workflows, automate processes, and ensure reliable Color Management, as well as consistent quality control
• you develop and maintain backup strategies, emergency scenarios, and technical documentation and support the operational readiness of servers, workstations, and peripheral devices
• you lead or accompany optimization and customer projects and take over the technical deputy role of the Head of CtP Publishing in their absence

You hit the mark if

• you bring sound experience in prepress, the publishing environment, or in the support of production-critical application and workflow systems
• you are familiar with PDF workflows, data verification, automation, and Color Management and have ideally already worked with systems such as NewsWay, ABB WMS, Asura, PitStop, or comparable solutions
• you grasp technical relationships quickly, analyze malfunctions in a structured manner, and act in a solution-oriented way even in time-critical situations
• you coordinate projects independently, make decisions responsibly, and reliably bring together different internal as well as external stakeholders
• you possess a strong service orientation, communicate clearly (German and English), and enjoy passing on your knowledge in training and documentation
• you are willing to work across locations and perform on-call duty. In this role, your main place of work can be in Aarau
