Portrait of the school/institution ### The Heilpädagogische Schule Lyss is a day school for children and adolescents with an intellectual or multiple disability. We teach around 115 students in 18 classes (primary to secondary and orientation level) between the ages of 4 and 18. For our integration class (Ukraine class) with 6 students, we are looking for: Teacher 38% (Wednesday and Thursday) ### Heipädagogische Schule Lyss 3250 Lyss Tasks ### • You teach in the integration class (Ukraine class) - You recognize the possibilities of your students - You promote with moderation, according to the principles of the ICF and work individualized in a heterogeneous class with your students - You manage parent contacts and conduct discussions regarding development planning - You network with therapists and specialist agencies in the development process - You work together with a pedagogical staff member and an intern in the class - You are in close contact with the division management and the teaching team Requirements ### • Enjoyment of the challenges of everyday school life - Overview in hectic situations and talent in class organization - Diploma in special education (schulische Heilpädagogik) or teacher - Knowledge of the Ukrainian/Russian language is an advantage - High teamwork skills and readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation - Humor and a clear manner We offer ### • Supportive introduction to the tasks by the division management - proactive special school that utilizes its development potential - Support in the class through a pedagogical staff member and an intern - Excellent infrastructure in a new school building - Remuneration according to the specifications of the Canton of Bern Contact ### Further information will be gladly provided by Stephanie Kocher, HR specialist, 079 543 48 68.
