Contract start: immediately or by arrangement

THESE ARE YOUR TASKS:

• Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes with a focus on productivity, quality, cost reduction and efficiency.
• Analysis and optimization of processes to reduce scrap and increase process performance using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and statistical methods.
• Execution of process validations and equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) including the required documentation.
• Technical support of production as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), including failure analysis, introduction of new products as well as ensuring GMP, GDP and ISO-13485 compliance.

YOU WILL REPORT TO:

Process Engineering Supervisor

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or a related technical field of study.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the medical device industry or a comparably highly regulated industry.
• Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage.
• Sound experience in the area of Manufacturing Engineering, process optimization and validation methods.
• Practical experience with process validations, equipment qualifications and manufacturing process controls.
• Very good understanding of GMP, GDP, ISO 13485 as well as regulated production environments.
• Knowledge of statistical evaluation methods and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Strong analytical skills as well as strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and tools for evaluating production data is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI as well as experience with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
• Fluent German and English skills, other languages are a plus.
