Start date: 1st April 2027 / 1st October 2027 / 1st April 2028 Workplace: Bern The Public Prosecutor's Office in charge of prosecuting economic offenses and the Public Prosecutor's Office in charge of special tasks offer a particularly interesting internship starting from 1st April 2027, 1st October 2027 and 1st April 2028. Your tasks <br /> • Analyze complaints and means of evidence, including developing proposals for the continuation of the procedure • Correspondence with parties and third parties • Participate in police actions (interviews, searches, etc.) • Draft production orders, dismissal orders and orders of non-admissibility • Prepare interrogations and draft minutes • Prepare indictments and pleadings • Take positions in appeal, recourse and detention proceedings • Demanding legal clarifications <br /> Your profile • An internship is subject to the successful completion of master's level law studies • You have intuition and an interest in criminal procedure • You are able to provide reliable, high-quality work within sometimes short deadlines and possess an ability to quickly understand the issues posed • You know how to demonstrate perseverance, endurance and resistance to stress and possess good communication skills and an easy manner • You are a French native speaker with good passive knowledge of German • Your good knowledge of MS Office applications and your mastery of ten-finger typing are a plus We offer you As an intern within the Cantonal Public Prosecutor's Office in charge of special tasks, you will handle, in close collaboration with prosecutors, cases which, due to their particularities, are not suited for investigation by the competent regional Public Prosecutor's Office by reason of place and which do not fall within the competence of the Public Prosecutor's Office in charge of prosecuting economic offenses. These notably include proceedings in the fields of organized crime, qualified drug trafficking, human trafficking and the encouragement of prostitution, as well as proceedings against members of the authorities. During the internship, you will notably gain an overview of ongoing proceedings involving secret surveillance measures as well as the possibility to participate in a search.
