WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU

For our Zurich location, we are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering (m/f/d) who combines technical excellence with entrepreneurial thinking. In this responsible position, you will take over the leadership of the engineering organization and create the prerequisites for fast, independent decision-making and consistent implementation. In doing so, you will combine the agility and decision-making strength of a medium-sized environment with the technological possibilities, know-how, and resources of an international technology group.

Specifically, you will face the following challenges:

• Leadership and further development of the engineering organization at the Zurich location
• Definition of clear technical and organizational priorities as well as consistent implementation of decisions made
• Further development of teams, managers, competencies, and engineering processes
• Ensuring a balanced relationship between quality, deadlines, costs, and technical performance
• Continuous optimization of existing processes with a focus on efficiency and speed, taking group-wide structures into account
• Close cooperation with program management, operations, business development, and other international Rheinmetall units
• Translation of customer requirements and strategic goals into robust technical solutions
• Promotion of a culture of personal responsibility, decision-making strength, and consistent result orientation

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed studies as Dipl. Ing. ETH/FH
• Military training in the area of FLAB/BODLUV is an advantage
• Very good business and product understanding
• Professionalism in service and customer orientation
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and resilient
• Organizational talent with a "hands-on" mentality
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
