Our Digital Workplace Engineering team operates central services such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online as well as the associated Shared Services. You bring sound experience in dealing with Microsoft Purview in the Microsoft 365 environment and feel at home in the technical implementation and operation of security and compliance solutions. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that our Microsoft 365 platform is continuously developed in a secure, stable and compliant manner.

Your tasks

• Engineering and operation of the Microsoft 365 platform (Shared Services) with a security focus, including security and compliance policies, CIS Benchmarks, Defender detection rules, Entra role and group models, service hardening as well as WIZ-SSPM configurations
• Operating and further developing Microsoft Purview functions (e.g. DLP, Information Protection, Audit, eDiscovery) and Azure RMS according to specified guidelines
• Configuring, operating and monitoring Compliance Recording, especially for Microsoft Teams
• Automating and standardizing secure Microsoft 365 configurations (e.g. Tenant, Defender, Purview, Teams) with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and M365 built-in tools
• Processing Incidents, Changes, Microsoft Messages (Evergreening) and Service Requests in the area of the Microsoft 365 platform (Shared Services), Defender XDR and Purview
• Working closely with security and compliance teams and contributing your technical expertise

Your profile

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the operation of Microsoft 365 security-relevant Shared Services (Entra ID, Defender XDR, Purview) as well as Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online
• Comprehensive practical experience with Microsoft Purview in the M365 environment, especially DLP, Information Protection, policy and label management as well as ideally Audit and eDiscovery
• Sound experience with security and compliance mechanisms in the M365 context, including security and compliance policies, CIS Benchmarks, Defender detection rules, Entra role and group models, service hardening as well as WIZ-SSPM
• Experience with scripting and automation, especially with PowerShell in the M365 and security context
• Practical experience with Compliance Recording in the Microsoft 365/Teams environment is a plus
• You score with a strong sense of security and responsibility, an analytical and structured way of working as well as enjoyment of working in an agile team
• Very good German and good English skills
