Employee Night Watch and Day Service

At Forelhaus Zürich, we accompany adults with addictive diseases on their way to a stable, self-determined and addiction-free life. At various locations, we offer around 73 places in different forms of residential living. Around 20 employees work together interdisciplinarily.  To strengthen our team, we are looking for a reliable, responsible and committed personality for regular night watches and complementary assignments in the day service, effective immediately or by arrangement. Your task During the night, you ensure presence and safety in the house. You are the contact person for our residents and react calmly, prudently and according to internal specifications even in extraordinary situations. From 24.00 to 06.00, an on-call sleeping period is provided. During this time, you can sleep on site and remain reachable for necessary assignments. You typically perform: • 2 night watches per month from 21.00 to 09.00 \- 2 day assignments per month from 09.00 to 15.00 or from 15.00 to 21.00 \-   Assignments according to the duty roster, sometimes also on weekends and public holidays  The combination of night watches and assignments in the day service allows you to get to know our residents, everyday life at Forelhaus and the team well. This creates continuity, strengthens cooperation and makes the activity varied.  In the day service, you particularly take over: \- Telephone calls, e-mails and general inquiries \- Administration of medication according to internal specifications \- Organizational and administrative tasks \-     Coordination and passing on relevant information \- Contact function for residents and external agencies What you bring with you \-   Joy and interest in working with people in different life situations \-   Reliability, sense of responsibility and independence \- A respectful and binding manner \-   Calmness and overview even in demanding situations \- Willingness for night, weekend and public holiday assignments \- Good German language skills in speaking and writing  The position is particularly suitable for students as well as for persons with a background in psychology, social work, social pedagogy, nursing or related professional fields. Applications from persons with comparable experience in the social, caregiving or health environment are also welcome.
