Wädenswil is an attractive city on the left shore of Lake Zurich with well 26'000 inhabitants. Around 380 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population daily. The municipal properties are managed centrally in Wädenswil. For the maintenance and management of the administration properties, we are looking for a caretaker, 100 % (Administration properties) as of 1 December 2026 or by arrangement. Your areas of responsibility include * independent care and management of the assigned properties as well as ensuring reliable, safe and economical building operations * conducting regular inspection, operational and security rounds, monitoring the condition of the building as well as early recognition, assessment and reporting of defects and damage * execution of minor repair, maintenance and restoration work within your own area of competence * monitoring, operation and initial assessment of the building technology systems, in particular heating, ventilation, electrical, lift and locking systems as well as fire and security equipment * coordination and accompaniment of maintenance, inspections and recurring controls * independent processing and documentation of orders and pending tasks in the CAFM system as well as maintenance of the relevant operational, system and object data * obtaining and checking craft offers in consultation with the Head of Operations Maintenance as well as coordination, instruction and control of external craftsmen and service providers * control of the work performed as well as checking the associated reports and invoices * technical and personnel leadership of the assigned cleaning staff as well as ensuring and controlling the cleaning * support in the maintenance of the surroundings and snow removal as well as in the area of BeSibe * participation in operational and technical optimizations of the properties as well as readiness to undertake on-call duty What you bring * completed manual or technical vocational training, preferably in the areas of building technology, electrical, HLKS, operations maintenance or a comparable professional field * several years of professional experience in technical building maintenance, facility management or in a comparable function * training as a caretaker with a federal certificate of competence is an advantage * pronounced manual skill and a good technical understanding * ability to independently assess technical malfunctions and defects and initiate suitable measures * knowledge in the areas of occupational safety, fire protection and building security is an advantage * experience in the leadership or coordination of employees is an advantage * independent, structured and reliable way of working as well as a high sense of responsibility and quality * ability to prioritize tasks and pending items meaningfully and conclude them consistently * service-oriented and friendly appearance as well as good communication and teamwork skills in dealing with administration employees, authorities, external service providers and cleaning staff * good oral and written German skills * good IT user knowledge and readiness to work consistently with digital tools and CAFM systems * driving license category B We offer you a varied, responsible and demanding activity in an open-minded team as well as a conveniently located workplace in the beautiful center of Wädenswil only a few minutes' walk from the station/lake.
