For our headquarters in Winterthur, we are looking for an experienced technical leader who, with their team, ensures the operational building operations and the technical availability of our plants. The role combines leadership with operational technology: You lead your team, take on technical responsibility, and personally help out with malfunctions, critical plants, commissioning and optimizations.

Your typical day

• Leadership & Organization: You lead the areas of operational maintenance, infrastructure facility management and cleaning and are responsible for resource and deployment planning. Furthermore, you coordinate and control external service providers and ensure the quality of the services provided
• Electrical Engineering & Hands-on: You analyze and resolve electrical malfunctions and, within the scope of your electrotechnical qualification, personally carry out work on our electrical systems and the building infrastructure. You assess electrical requirements and measured values and actively support critical plants, emergency events as well as energy supply and network quality problems
• Building Automation: You analyze and parameterize technical systems and BMS systems, optimize control strategies, process alarm messages and define or control automation interfaces. During commissioning, you bring in your technical expertise and act as an interface to ICT
• Technical Building Operations: You ensure the high availability of our technical infrastructure and monitor, among other things, HVAC, electrical and refrigeration supply, compressed air as well as the technical infrastructure of our cleanrooms and laboratories. In the event of malfunctions, you carry out root cause analyses and initiate sustainable technical optimizations
• Maintenance & Investments: You define maintenance measures, evaluate plant weaknesses and prioritize necessary replacement investments. Critical maintenance measures are technically assessed and released by you
• Operator Responsibility & Compliance: You ensure compliance with our operator obligations and technical compliance, check legally required proofs and accompany audits. Furthermore, you take on the function as Fire Safety Officer (SiBe)
• Smart Factory: You prepare the operational technical takeover of our new Smart Factory, accompany the construction acceptance from the perspective of the later building operations and ensure that all technical information and documentation relevant for operation and maintenance are fully handed over.
• Future-proof Location: You combine maximum plant availability and the assurance of production capability with economical building operations and continuously develop our technical infrastructure with a view to the future requirements of Kistler

Your Profile

• Electrotechnical Qualification - mandatory requirement: You are a qualified electrician according to NIV with completed electrotechnical training and authorized to carry out electrotechnical work on plants and the building infrastructure.
• Professional Experience: You bring several years of professional experience in technical building management and have sound knowledge of technical building infrastructure and systems.
• Leadership Experience: You have already successfully led employees and/or technical teams and know how to plan resources, clearly manage responsibilities and professionally develop your team
