Apprenticeship Mediamatiker:in EFZ (August 2027)

The training to become a Mediamatiker:in EFZ combines design, communication, and project development into a versatile entry into the modern media world. If you have an eye for design, enjoy working with images, video, and text, and are enthusiastic about new digital trends, you are in the right place.

At Syngenta, you will take on varied tasks in different business areas from the very start. You will maintain and design our digital platforms, realize multimedia content for various target groups, and work closely with marketing and communication teams. In doing so, you will learn to implement creative projects in a structured manner and will have the freedom to contribute your own ideas.

Apprenticeship duration: 4 years, vocational baccalaureate (Berufsmatur) possible during the apprenticeship

Vocational school: You will attend vocational school two days per week and deepen your professional and academic knowledge there. You will be taught in thematically focused modules in the areas of multimedia (design, video, web), informatics, marketing, communication, and project management.

Base year: In the first year of apprenticeship, you will spend approximately 8 months at aprentas. There, you will acquire important basics for your training as a Mediamatiker:in EFZ (animation, photography, Adobe Creative Cloud, marketing, etc.). In practical projects, you will get to know the most important tools and methods intensively. With this solid manual foundation, you will transition, well-prepared, to a department at Syngenta after 8 months.
