Financial Accountant / VAT Specialist

For our client, an internationally active company, we are looking for an experienced financial accountant with a focus on VAT, who wants to bring in their expertise in a dynamic and international environment. Framework data: Location: Schaffhausen region (2 days home office possible) Project duration: 16 months with a very high probability of extension or takeover Contract type: Personnel leasing via Hays Your tasks • Participation in the preparation of national and international tax returns as well as VAT settlements (CH & international) in cooperation with external consultants • Contact person for auditors, banks and insurance companies as well as support during audits and inquiries • Ensuring compliance with group guidelines, compliance regulations and regulatory requirements • Planning, coordination and implementation of internal controls (e.g. process and system controls) • Collaboration in interdisciplinary projects for process optimization, digitalization and automation (e.g. ERP projects) • Taking on project tasks as well as creating ad-hoc evaluations and analyses (Optional) Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR for two Swiss companies Your profile • Completed training in finance and accounting, ideally with further education (e.g. federal certificate of proficiency, HF, trust company etc.) • Experience in the field of taxes and VAT, ideally with international reference • Practical experience in cooperation with external tax consultants • Confident appearance towards external stakeholders (auditors, banks etc.) • Good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) as well as very good Excel skills Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working • Very good German and good English language skills Your benefits • Long-term project with clear prospects for extension or takeover Exciting activity in an internationally renowned company • Modern way of working with home office share and diverse projects Interested?
