Quality Inspector (m/f)

On behalf of our client, a world-leading company from the mechanical engineering industry based in Winterthur, we are looking for a Quality Inspector (m/f) # immediately or by arrangement In this versatile function, you will undertake various activities in the quality inspection and quality assurance of our client. You will inspect machine and special components in the incoming goods and ensure the flawless quality of the material to be processed for production. In doing so, you will use a wide variety of measuring and testing instruments (manual and digital) to find deviations, e.g., in the visual inspection of surfaces. You will create test protocols and error reports, record them in our client's internal quality system, and evaluate test data (error statistics/reports). Furthermore, you will support the quality inspection of other departments, e.g., when performing sample analyses & pressure tests, and participate in various internal projects. This position is also very well suited for young polymechanics with a few years of professional experience including quality inspection who wish to develop/specialize further in this area. To fill this position optimally, you bring a completed mechanical training as a polymechanic, mechanic etc. You have initial professional experience and have already been able to gain practical experience in quality inspection (e.g. 3D, handling various measuring instruments, testing workpieces etc.), ideally in the mechanical engineering industry. You have completed further training in quality inspection/assurance as well as knowledge in handling an ERP system (SAP, Navision, etc.). You have excellent eyesight, an exact way of working, and are a reliable and flexible team player. Very good German skills in spoken and written language are also required, English skills are an advantage.
