Senior IT Recovery Manager and Backup Engineer Job Details | Swisscard

Your tasks • You create, review, and regularly conduct IT disaster recovery plans and tests - from scenario-based exercises to application- and component-specific approaches. • You coordinate and accompany IT disaster recovery tests, continuously update recovery plans, and promote understanding of dependencies between business processes and IT systems. • You sensitize teams to disaster recovery topics and empower key personnel through training and knowledge transfer. • You continuously develop our disaster recovery capabilities, control relevant controls, create reports for management and stakeholders, and support audits as well as compliance requirements. • You take over the technical coordination of recovery measures in the event of an incident in close cooperation with Business Continuity Management (BCM). • You support the operation, monitoring, and further development of our backup solution IBM Spectrum Protect for on-premises systems. • You bring your expertise to engineering, operations, and administrative tasks and ensure the quality and scope of data backups. Your profile • You have in-depth experience in the field of IT disaster recovery and business continuity management. • You have already conceived, implemented, and further developed disaster recovery plans, scenarios, and tests. • You understand the relationships and dependencies between business processes, applications, and IT infrastructures. • You have experience in governance, control, reporting, and audit topics and move safely in the regulatory environment. • You keep an overview even in demanding situations and communicate in a structured way with different stakeholders. • You have practical experience with backup solutions - ideally with IBM Spectrum Protect - and have solid expertise in engineering, administration, and operations. • You are familiar with modern IT security principles and convince with an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working. • You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills (at least C1/B2) Visit our homepage and get a first impression of our great IT work environment Our employees | Swisscard AECS Ready for your next career step?
