Train Driver in Cat. A40

This is what you can move.

• You prepare passenger trains for their journey, carry out shunting movements on train compositions, and drive various traction vehicles at a maximum speed of 30 km/h within a limited radius of the station to the defined starting point.
• During shunting movements, you monitor the track and thus ensure safety.
• You create the driving readiness, enter data into the safety and information systems, and perform brake tests.
• You rectify minor defects or malfunctions on the vehicle yourself if possible, or report them to the responsible office using the intended instruments.
• Assignments as a shunting specialist (Ai40) in full shifts are a matter of course for you. You couple and uncouple rail vehicles, direct individual shunting movements, and put train compositions back.

This is what you bring with you.

• You are attentive, concentrated, and physically resilient in order to successfully manage this demanding work in 24-hour shift operation. In addition, you enjoy working outside in all weather.
• In your daily work, you operate, among other things, a tablet. Using modern work equipment is no trouble for you.
• You are already a trained train driver Cat. A40 or shunting specialist Ai40.
• You have good knowledge in German, both spoken and written (min. B2).
• You have flawless color vision (no red-green deficiency) and have no entries in the criminal and debt enforcement registers.
