VENIO is a vascular medicine center with two sites in Thun. Our areas of expertise are the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. We organize an interdisciplinary wound consultation and take care of patients suffering from obesity.

The VENIO team consists of four doctors, twelve registered nurses and assistants, three physiotherapists, three compression specialists, and one dietitian. Together, we take care of patients from the entire Bernese Oberland region as well as the Thun agglomeration.

WEX area of responsibility

• You autonomously take care of patients in consultation as a wound manager.
• You work in close collaboration within the wound and laser team with other wound managers, angiologist doctors, as well as the vascular surgeon.
• You coordinate the joint care of patients by external professionals, for example the Spitex service.
• You apply new therapeutic methods such as CAMPs, PRP and laser photobiomodulation.

MPA/MPK area of responsibility

• You assist during outpatient interventions in the practice's own operating block.
• You autonomously perform laboratory analyses, photographic documentation, volumetry, oscillography, BIA analyses as well as ABI measurements.
• You support the doctors in consultation.
• You support the management in organizing the operation of the practice.
• You coordinate, in collaboration with the administrative staff, the scheduling of appointments and participate in the optimization of processes.

General area of responsibility

• You are responsible for the provision, preparation, control as well as the technical handling of necessary medical devices, equipment and materials.
• You document autonomously in digital form.

Your profile

• Completed training as a medical assistant (MPA) or registered nurse HF as well as qualification as a certified wound specialist / wound manager.
• Professional experience in a large general practitioner or specialist practice or in a hospital.
• You are resilient, motivated, reliable and solution-oriented and like working in a team.
• You have a friendly, patient-centered and positive attitude.
• You are familiar with the management of electronic patient documentation.
