Counting nearly 1'400 collaboratrices and collaborators, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics constitutes a medical pole centered on the elderly and is spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour (Stern) and Joli-Mont. It takes care of acute situations, thanks in particular to geriatric emergencies and intermediate care at the Trois-Chênes Hospital, acute units some of which are focused on geriatric syndromes, geriatric rehabilitation units, musculoskeletal, cardiological, neurological and oncological, and long-stay units. It also includes a specialized palliative care service, a community geriatrics unit, a liaison geriatrics unit, and the Centre de la mémoire. Job Description ## Do you want to evolve within the reference medical university institution of the canton? You supervise and ensure medical services of quality, under the supervision of the medical hierarchy, of a care unit within the department of rehabilitation and geriatrics. You coordinate practical activities, clinical or therapeutic interventions on the clinical but also administrative and organizational level. You participate in the training of medical interns and have the possibility of benefiting from high-quality post-graduate training contributing to the obtaining of the title of specialist in internal medicine and general medicine (general internal medicine service of category B), the obtaining of the title of specialist in geriatrics (geriatrics service of category A), the obtaining of the title of specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Qualifications ## You hold a federal diploma of medicine or have training deemed equivalent by the Commission of medical professions of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO recognition). Your excellent communication skills allow you to interact within a multidisciplinary team and with the patient population. You are an autonomous, flexible person and demonstrate commitment. For non-French speakers, a French level C1 in spoken and written tests is required.
