You bring sound experience in the backup environment and enjoy taking responsibility for the secure and reliable operation of business-critical systems. With us, you are responsible for the conception, operation, and further development of our global backup infrastructure. You further develop standards and specifically contribute your knowledge in storage and server virtualization in the context of data backup. YOUR TASKS

• Responsibility for the conception, operation, and further development of our global backup infrastructure
• Ensuring a stable, secure, performant, and highly available backup operation at enterprise level
• Definition, implementation, and further development of backup standards, guidelines, and processes
• Support and further development of the areas of storage and server virtualization in the context of data backup
• Documentation of systems as well as collaboration on cross-cutting IT projects and concepts

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed training or studies in the IT field
• Sound and demonstrable experience in the backup environment
• Very good knowledge of backup technologies and architectures
• Experience with Commvault is an advantage
• Solid knowledge in the areas of storage and server virtualization
• Sense of responsibility as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Experience with agile methods as well as project management or collaboration tools
• Enjoyment of teamwork, initiative, and active participation
• Willingness for occasional travel
