Bodywork Manager

On behalf of our esteemed client, we are selecting, with immediate effect, the following professional figure: ++Bodywork Director++. We are looking for a person who combines the hand of someone who knows the trade and the gaze of someone who runs a company. Someone able to read numbers in the office and, when needed, go down to the workshop to understand why a paint job is not going as it should. Responsibilities • Lead the workshop as a whole: people, times, quality and accounts. • Coordinate the team (painters, preparers, sheet metal workers, secretaries) knowing exactly what you're talking about. • Manage relationships with customers, insurance companies and experts. • Draw up accurate and defensible estimates and appraisals. • Monitor the productivity and margins of the workshop. Requirements • Solid and previous experience in the sector, of at least 2 years, ideally gained by starting as a painter and finisher. • Ability to get hands-on when the situation requires it. • Management skills: organization of workflow, personnel development, management of deadlines and external relationships. • Knowledge of the Silver DAT program (preferred requirement). • Excellent communication, empathic and relational skills.
