As part of the strategic further development of the company, we are looking for our client for a/an Chief Financial Officer Your tasks Reporting directly to the Co-CEO, as a member of the Executive Board, you will assume overall responsibility for the financial management of the company and play a decisive role in shaping the further development of Oertli. You are responsible for controlling, finance and accounting, as well as facility management, and further develop the finance function into a modern business partner for the Board of Directors, the Co-CEOs, and the Executive Board, creating transparency regarding performance, liquidity, profitability, and investments. You manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash management, as well as the financial support of strategic projects, and ensure professional corporate governance as well as compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. In doing so, you are responsible for controlling, accounting, and consolidation of the group – parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies – and actively drive the digitalization of financial processes from ERP further development (D365) to data-driven management. As an active member of the Executive Board, you contribute your financial and entrepreneurial expertise to the strategic further development, internationalization, and sustainable scaling of the company. Your profile You have several years of leadership experience as CFO, Finance Director, or in a similarly responsible financial management role in an internationally active industrial company, ideally in medtech, pharma, or a comparably regulated industry. You combine sound expertise in controlling, finance and accounting, and corporate management with pronounced entrepreneurial thinking and a high understanding of manufacturing companies. You are a convincing leader with a clear presence, natural authority, and high credibility. You act as a sparring partner for the Executive Board and the Board of Directors, consistently develop organizations and processes, and combine strategic foresight with pragmatic implementation strength. Your professional foundation is as individual as your career path: whether university, university of applied sciences, or federal diploma – what matters is a sound business administration education and recognized further training in finance and accounting (e.g., federal diploma expert in accounting and controlling, auditor, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or MBA).
