Facility Manager Civil Engineering

What you can achieve. • In the role of Facility Manager, you monitor and assess the condition of civil engineering structures in your area of responsibility. In doing so, you rely on a well-coordinated inspection team and also carry out assessments yourself. • In the event of deviations from the target state, you plan, budget, and commission more detailed condition assessments and suitable maintenance measures. • As a Facility Manager, you carry out monitoring and maintenance measures under your own responsibility. You commission large-scale repair measures and control compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality. • You assess SBB-owned construction projects and railway-proximate projects of third parties with regard to compliance with standards and regulations, as well as with regard to ensuring the safety and availability of the railway infrastructure. • You are open to innovations and provide impulses to enable the operation and maintenance of the structures to be carried out more safely, efficiently, and economically. What you bring with you. • You are characterized by your independent and reliable way of working as well as your analytical, creative, and forward-thinking mindset. • Furthermore, you bring cost and responsibility awareness, assertiveness, and decisiveness. You communicate with a wide range of stakeholders in an audience-appropriate and solution-oriented manner. • For the execution of railway-proximate inspection activities and maintenance measures, we require that you complete internal training in the field of workplace safety (self-protection, safety leader) so that you can move independently in the track area. • You possess a completed degree as a civil engineer (ETH/Uni/FH) or a comparable qualification. Experience in the field of monitoring and maintenance of civil engineering structures is an advantage. • You communicate with business fluency in German (min. C1). You also possess a driving license Cat. B and bring sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
