familea is a socially responsible association with a 125-year tradition in the Basel area. In over 40 daycare centers, we care for around 3-000 children. We operate children's and youth homes, the center for foster children, and a social and legal advisory service for women. Our services strengthen families, children, and women. They promote the compatibility of family and career, and contribute to equal opportunities and integration. With over 900 employees - of whom around 200 are trainees and students - we are a recognized and significant specialist and training institution in the social sector. familea's inpatient residential care has 56 places for children and young people aged 5 - 18 years or older, who are cared for in seven residential groups of 8 places each. They are accompanied, supported, and challenged for 365 days in co-educational groups with different age structures. All children and young people attend public schools or a training facility. For one of our student residential groups in the Kinderheim Lindenberg, which houses psychosocially burdened children and young people between 5 and 16 years, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement a Social Worker FH/HF 80% ## You are- ### • Child and youth coach - You accompany our kids through the everyday jungle, help with perspectives, and are the rock in the surf when there is a crisis. • Future coach - You creatively support young people in taking their lives into their own hands. • Network professional - You are the important interface in the helper system and have the threads in your hands. • Admin talent - You handle administrative tasks such as protocols and correspondence reliably and with professional expertise. • Team player - Together with 5-6 great colleagues, you run the shop, contribute to working groups, and are also there for camps and leisure action. What you bring with you: ### • You have the diploma as a Social Worker FH/HF as well as some years of professional experience in your backpack (and for foreign diplomas, the SBFI recognition is there). • You have humor - even when it gets stressful - and master challenges with a smile and composure. • You meet the children and young people at eye level and find the perfect mix of closeness and distance. • Irregular shifts and weekends? No problem for you, you are flexible! • You have the practical instructor course or are willing to complete it.
